Laundrette

Arriving in Venice with a bag of dirty washing? Coin-operated machines and driers are as rare as constipated pigeon in Venice, a surprising fact given the numbers of backpackers who flock to the city during the hot, summer months. What is almost the only laundrette to speak of can be found a short walk from the south side of the railway station bridge. Open decent hours and not overly expensive, this is about as good as it gets in Venice.
